Batkid - San Francisco
November 15, 2013
Disclaimer: I was NOT the Batman who helped Miles save Gotham that day; the man's name is Eric Johnston. I was there as a civillian cheering on Miles as he saved Gotham City!
The city of San Francisco teamed up with more than 11,000 Make-A-Wish volunteers to make a 5-year-old superhero's dream come true. Miles Scott, who's leukemia was in remission, asked to be "Batkid" and spent November 15, 2013 fighting crime alongside Batman in Gotham City (San Francisco, CA)!
Batkid traveled in the Batventador Batmobile (Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4) and saved a damsel in distressed on train tracks, helped police arrest the Riddler in a bank, and saved Lou Seal (SF Giants' mascot) from the Penguin! In the end, SF's mayor granted Miles the key to the city.
This was a fantastic thing that Make-A-Wish Foundation did for Miles and his family. Below are some pictures I took that day.
