Camp Kesem Santa Clara

Bay Area Hero made a surprise visit to the wonderful kids at Camp Kesem Santa Clara. Each child received a special hero cape from the Bay Area Hero as a symbol of their strength and bravery in tough times.
Camp Kesem provides children through and beyond a parent’s cancer with a peer-support network that recognizes and understands their unique needs. This summer, Camp Kesem will serve over 4,000 children, ages 6-16, with fun and support through free summer camps led by passionate college students. Camp Kesem currently operates over 60 chapters in 29 states and is funded by donations and community support.
