Bay Area Hero made my son's 4th birthday a memorable experience for everyone at the party. Little kids, big kids, and adults enjoyed his presence immensely. He is professional, energetic, thoughtful, and 100% Batman. When I say 100% Batman, I mean 100% BATMAN!! From the moment he pulled up in his Batmobile, until an hour later when he dashed away to fight crime he was truly amazing. I highly recommend Bay Area Hero for any memorable superhero event. Words cannot express the joy my husband and I felt watching our Batman-obsessed son's wildest dream come true yesterday when the Caped Crusader himself showed up at his 5th birthday party! We hired Lucas aka The Hero to make a surprise appearance and entertain the 30+ children in attendance, and he far exceeded our expectations in every way. Children and adults alike were mesmerized by The Hero! From his incredibly authentic Batman suit (it's too impressive to call a "costume") to his voice and demeanor, Lucas is the REAL deal. For an hour, we parents just sat back and watched as The Hero led our children in various games such as Duck-Duck-Goose and Red Light-Green Light before teaching them some sweet crime fighter moves. He also kept the group organized as they busted open a couple candy-filled pinatas. From toddlers to ten year olds, The Hero managed to keep all our younger guests captivated and engaged (which isn't easy to do with such a large age range.) Despite scorching heat at our outdoor party, Batman remained as cool as cucumber, interacting easily with everyone and posing for picture after picture with guests before heading back to Gotham City. As a busy parent, I appreciated Lucas' professionalism throughout the entire planning process, too. Not only was he prompt in his responses, but he asked questions and offered suggestions to make this event custom-made for my son. From our very first interaction, I could tell that he truly cared about making my son feel as special as possible...and that he did. (My son even fell asleep gripping the Batman figurine that The Hero had wrapped up and presented to him.) Thank you so much to Lucas and Legendary Lair. My son didn't even need any warm up time and began by showing Batman around our yard. Batman then warmed up the rest of the kids with a couple of games. After a little while, the kids developed their own game of "sneak up on Batman," which Batman totally took in stride, never breaking from character. The kids were thoroughly entertained and parents got to sit back and enjoy watching their kids have fun. Batman even stayed beyond the time that we had arranged because the kids kept talking to him and asking him questions. Lucas was professional and warm in all his communications before and after the party, responding to emails promptly and thoroughly. He even gave my son a little present. After the fight scene he played some games, and really interacted so well,all the while staying in character!! The kids loved just hangin with batman!!
